I’m guessing you’re here because you love photos, love to take lots of them (or you have lots of them!), and you want to get organized. Sound about right?
Well then! Let me be the first person to welcome you home! You’ve officially found your mothership!
I’m glad you’re here because this blog was created to specifically to help you get your photos and other family memories organized. Around here we love preserving our family history, creating photo projects, and organizing our collections!
That’s right – we organize for fun!
Anyone who is passionate about photos is welcome in my circle, but my core clientele are genealogists, family historians, writers, photographers, scrapbookers, and other like-minded photo enthusiasts!
I hope you will join my community of creatives, and stay on the organized path!
Most of all, I want you to not only get organized, but stay organized, so that you can tell more stories, and inspire more people to do the same.
Here’s What You Need to Know about Me
My name is Caroline Guntur (formerly Nilsson), and I am a Swedish Certified Photo Organizer & Personal Historian, currently living in the US.
I’m a storyteller at heart, and I work as a Professional Organizer, but instead of specializing in closets (like my colleagues), I work with photos, memories, and family history.
If you’ll let me, I’d love to be your coach on the journey to better photo organization!
The Goal of This Blog ( & My Mission In Life )
I founded my company The Swedish Organizer, LLC to help other storytellers be more organized, so that more stories get told, and ultimately shared and preserved. With a solid background in both the genealogy and professional organizing fields, combining my two passions felt like the right thing to do.
Millions of digital photos are lost every year due to lack of organization.
Yep, it’s the sad truth. Phones are lost, computers crash, and natural disasters tear memories away from their owners. I can’t let that go on. I can’t stop the natural disasters, but I can at least help you back up your camera roll.
On top of that, thousands of outdated prints, slides, negatives are sitting in sad little boxes around the world, waiting to be digitized.
It’s on the to-do list, yet somehow that project always takes the backseat. I can’t let that happen anymore. I don’t want YOUR legacy and stories to get lost! So I’ve decided to help you find them, help you organize them, and help you do something with them before it’s too late.
